I'm not sure what astounds me most about MixTape.me: that this is Adam's first major web development undertaking, or that he found the time to build something so mature and addictive outside of a demanding dayjob. After all our blustery hand-waving about being productive, teaching yourself new skills, and making things you care about at Lifehacker, this guy is truly walking the talk. Congratulations, Adam! Check out MixTape.me, and see what fun I've been having there with my playlists.

Update: Check out a playlist of mine that's gotten a few favorites and comments after the jump.

This is a playlist I put together based on a mix Michelle from Aurgasm sent me. I've been jamming to this in iTunes for a few weeks now, so I'm happy to share the love. (Thanks Michelle, for making me look like I've got great taste!)

Mac-using sports fans (and those who love them) looking to catch some college basketball online this month should grab the Plex media center's new March Madness plug-in.

Watch live games as they happen or completed games full-screen in HD on your Mac using the plug-in (which is a good way to watch two games at the same time--one on your computer and one on your TV). Plex's interface is a lot nicer than streaming it from CBSSports.com in your regular old web browser, especially if you hook your Mac up to a TV. To get the plug-in, run Plex, and install it from the App Store. Then go to the "Watch My Videos" section and you'll see "March Madness" listed there.

Here's what this afternoon's selection of games looked like:

If you've got a Mac, download Plex from here. The March Madness plug-in requires Silverlight to work. (No really, it does. If it doesn't work, reinstall Silverlight.) Here's the official Plex blog post about the plug-in: Beware the Ides of March (Madness).
