Android versus iPhone Apple made some exciting announcements about what's coming down the pipe for the iPhone this summer, so over at Lifehacker this morning I took at look at seeing how it all stacks up against Google's Android.

Overall I'm still a happy Android user, but I'll give it to Apple: the application potential and accessory control is looking really good. If they nail push notifications, iPhone 3.0 will be a really big deal. Check out the full article: Android Versus iPhone 3.0: The Showdown.

I read that earlier, great job! You brought up a few points I hadn’t even thought of for both sides and did a great job staying unbiased.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I think 3.0 will be enough to keep my Android envy at bay, for now.

Nice comparison… I love Android, if only the looks would be better (both hw and sw), I would have nothing to complain .. well, maybe about the Android Market ;.)

That’s a great article. I love the way competition accelerates tech development.

I say we skip cupcake and go straight to beefcake. No way can let an iPhone outperform a G1!

Thanks for sharing sold useful material. Anyone selling Android? What would be the best way to go about buying an Android?
