I was going to turn this feature on a little while back, but then worried about how I'd take photo's or video if the memory was full. It's a shame as this would be a good way to get me to sample more of my library from time to time. Maybe it could be marked as discardable, and garbage collected when real need for memory comes along. I had exactly the same thought as Fran.
