"I put my Kindle in a one-gallon Ziploc bag, and it works beautifully. It’s much better than a physical book, because obviously if you put your physical book in a Ziploc bag you can’t turn the pages. But with Kindle, you can just push the buttons." [NY Times via SvN]

great idea, I put my iPhone in a small ziplok bag when I am working in yard. I can still do things on it like listen to TWIG…if I take off my gloves.

I do the same thing when I go to the beach or on the boat. I suck all the air out right before I close the bag. Less glare, and feels more like a naked Kindle in my hands that way.

Is it just me, or was this a really awkward sounding interview to read? The zip lock bag idea is a good one, but the interviewer seemed to be having an off day with him.

I use the ziplok when I go for a run under the rain with my Iphone… not expensive and safe ;-)

I understand Jeff use, but I prefer a good paper book: maybe I don’t read it in the bathtub but has all a different experience in terms of sensations (because, yes, I really like the smell and feeling of paper under my fingers).
