I didn’t get an invite, but two friends offered to send me one of theirs. Neither has arrived, and this was Wednesday. I take this to mean something has happened around the launch. I also signed up very early for an invite and didn’t get selected in the first 100k, which seems weird to me, because I follow a lot of geeks and hear all this gossip pretty early. Once again, I think this product is less than perfect at this stage, and the fact that I have 1)friends who already hate it (Scoble) and friends who have no one to connect with on it, says a lot.
I think Wave will evaporate–unless GOOG pushes it out by force into the Blogger comment system, and migrates Gmail accounts over to it (this should be optional).
